Pultruded rods are used in various electricity-related applications including guy strain insulator, conductor support brackets and insulators.
 

Insulators

A protective coating is applied to the rods to prevent effects from harsh conditions of use. In addition to dielectric strength properties, pultruded rods are light weighted and have excellent tensile, compressive and flexion strength.
